Welcome to Key West on Fly. We are glad that you found us. It is
our hope that you find us a breath of fresh air. As four fishing
guides and close friends, our lives revolve around fish, the
wind and tides – much to the chagrin of our wives and girlfriends.
Our specialty is fly fishing the flats
of Key West and the Lower Keys, as well as, Everglades National
Park. Each of us, as independent owner operators, owns our own
boat and runs our own business. We are NOT an outfitting service.
Every day we work hard and strive to not
only put our clients on fish, but, more importantly, to “unlock
the code” and help our clients catch fish. However, we
know that a successful day on the water is not only about catching
fish. It is also about enjoying the company and the natural environment
that we are blessed to call our office.
Unlike many guides, we take every opportunity
(a day off) to fish. This allows us not only to expand our knowledge,
whether it is fishing new water in the Everglades or fishing
an overlooked edge only minutes from Key West, but also experiment
with new flies and techniques in an attempt to stay ahead of
the curve. Most importantly it lets us refuel our addiction for
this great sport.
Fly fishing the flats is our lives and
a day spent on the boat with any of us will quickly reveal that
fact. This passion and intensity will never be mistaken as a
poor attitude. We celebrate each fish with our anglers, while
also providing patient instruction when everything doesn’t
quite come together. We welcome all experience levels; from veteran
anglers looking to increase their tally of permit to a first-time
saltwater angler hoping to experience an instructive and enjoyable
